1D is taught by Mrs Dunn and Mr Davies, with support from Mr Mahon. Our learning is mainly done practically and focuses on the basic skills children need in Maths and English. Lessons are fun and interactive with the aim of getting the children fully engaged into the school curriculum. We adapt our teaching to suit the needs of the children in class and ensure they enjoy their lessons. We plan our days to support the children’s social and emotional development alongside their academic. The children are at the forefront of our days and we ensure they feel valued in our class.
